I’m sending you this tiny update in hopes that you will do us a great favor. Please keep us in your prayers. More specifically: please pray that we will follow God’s path and trust in His plans for us; and please pray that we can sell our house soon. We’ve had one showing so far and our (fabulous) real estate agent has two other couples in mind but is playing phone tag with them. She has also (finally) gotten either the city or the county to fix the alley in front of our house.

If you know anyone looking to buy a house, it’s being represented by B.K. Vernon at Prudential. Please pass this link on to anyone looking: http://www.trulia.com/property/3050285667-907-Wo-Ezell-Blvd-Spartanburg-SC-29301

Also, please add us to any and every prayer list you have. We know God has great plans for us. We know he didn’t lead us to San Antonio to abandon us or leave us lonely or bankrupt. And we know that He loves us beyond measure.

Thank you Friends, Thank you Family. From the bottom of our hearts, we love you and we pray for you, and we miss you a whole awful lot.
Hey Leslie –
Kyle and I know all too well how you and Trey feel right now. Within a couple of months after moving to Myrtle Beach (which isn’t halfway across the country but still pretty far considering Kyle had always lived in the same place), we started questioning why God had us move. Chick-fil-A was great, although not falling into place as promised, and I couldn’t find a job and was bored out of my mind. We had, and still have, many folks praying for us. And two years later, two jobs later for both of us, and two apartments later, we finally feel at peace with our decision. We will be praying for you and Trey for your house to sell and for the peace of knowing that God is leading you down the path He chose.
Much love –
Amanda and Kyle
Thanks Amanda :) One of my great comforts is knowing that we have countless friends across the country who have been in the same type of situation…and they’ve survived.
“For I know the plans I have for you,†declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”
-Jeremiah 29:11-13
Constant prayers, my sweet Muffin (and Donut). And even though I, very selfishly, miss you every single day, I know that our awesome God has such amazing plans for the both of you and trust completely that He led you there for a reason…now if only he could lead the rest of us there, as well, we’d be one big Texan family!
Leslie- Wow… I’m reading through your blog and your spunk, energy and genuine heart shines through each post. I am thankful God placed you and Trey in our path and we look forward to hanging out with y’all even if it’s a chill poker night or a double date. I hope you have a blessed Christmas with your family and happy new year!!!
Thank you! I can’t wait to hang out with you guys more as well!
